Sustainability

What are the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

The 17 SDGs are integrated—that is, they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Water Management

1.1: Water is a natural resource and an integral part of our life. In sewing threads manufacturing, Dyeing is the most water consuming process.

We have installed new dyeing machines that operates on low liquor ratio, that gives us more production with less water consumption.

1.2: Water Saving Awareness programs to our workers, no leaking Taps, using water from cooling returns.

Energy Management

Our aim is to use renewable energy as much as possible so that we can reduce Greenhouse gas emission.

Sunlight can naturally illuminate our workplace. We are utilizing Daylight by using sky light system in our production area.

Effluent Management

Wastewater treatment is a process used to remove contaminants from wastewater and convert it into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle with minimum impact on the environment.

We have Effluent Treatment Plant with a Capacity of 30 cubic meter/ hour.
