Textured Polyester (TXP)
Textured Polyester (TXP)
A group of polymers that consist basically of repeated units of an ester and are used especially in making fibers or plastics. Filament fibers can be monofilament, which is a single fiber, or they can be twisted together to form multifilament yarns. TXP are made of high quality polyester filament by special process giving textured surface which improves cooling of the thread, thread reducing the risk of fiber fusing. This product has the advantage of producing color that is resistant to stretching, friction and chemicals. Threads are available in 150D (SET), 150D (IM), 150D (TPM).
